Jared S -> using 2 stroke snowmobile oil for homebrew (1/11/2007 9:41:25 PM) I was just wondering if it is possible to just use a 2 stroke oil that is used for snowmobiles or dirt bike engines? Is there any difference between the RC synthetic oil and the larger displacement 2 stroke snowmobile oils?

microsprint9 -> RE: using 2 stroke snowmobile oil for homebrew (1/12/2007 10:16:21 PM) Yeah i just looked on the Klotz website and found all the snowmobile oils they offer are for gas only, where as the super techniplate will work on either gas or alcohol. I know all the 250-270 microsprints in the US run methanol and some sort of premix 2-stroke oil, i would doubt that they all use klotz, but it's possible.
