My D21B cam with one in it and my D21T MKII came with one in it and one extra a different size. For WELL over 5 gallons I have run the one that came in my D21B with out a problem. Now I know the STS 28 and 30 do not come with one. Did you try adjusting the idle and do you have the venture installed properly?

it just slides in right? then i tighten the idle screw but it's barely open then. i like to have 1mm on the carb and its less than that, maybe half.

Your D21B did not come with a venture? I have not broken in my STS D21T MKII yet as I am not quite done with my Hyper 8.5 and I have never take the one out on my Hyper 8. When I get time I will try and check it out.

Mine didn't come with one, somthing about the old LSN needed it to help with bogging and mine cane with the new LSN and did't come with it, I don't really care too much about run-time I'd rather have more power then run-time, well as long as I can get about 7-8min on a tank with running dry I'm good and mine can do that and its running rich.

Run time makes a big difference particularly if you run a 10-minute main! I can do a 10-minutes main on one tank, which can sure put you ahead of others that have to pit! All so on longer mains I do not need to pit as often! I have been known to get over 12 minutes. Both my D21B I have cane with a venture. I still have a new one in the box I have not taken the shrink wrap off of.

Does anyone have any kind of contact phone number for Top Speed Toys, the USA distributor for STS. They're good at taking money but not at returning E mails in a timely manner.

I bought a D3R which I have come to find out has a manufacturing defect. I used Pay Pal to purchase. Yea, it is very frustrating how long it takes to hear from Mark.

have you heard from mark? if not (BTW he's sold-out on the D3R and most if not all his engines) contact paypal and get them to return your money, and order from here http://projectzen.net/ I've bought my engine him, and I have talked to him alot, he'll reply to your e-mails in one or two days, and he's not out of stock on any of his engines.

lurchsum69 I am sorry to here you are having problems getting in touch with Mark. Are you emailing him at the correct email address, which is mark@stsmicroengines.com. I talked to him a couple weeks ago and he is having problems with the manufacture, which he buys direct from. I have talked to others that buy direct and they are all so having problems with STS and most are just going to give up carrying there engines and parts if this does not change. I have heard good things about http://projectzen.net/ but have to wonder when he placed his last order with the manufacture and if he will have problems with them? His price on engines is good but his parts are high. JB do you know when the last time he placed an order and if he has had a problems lately? If things do not change shortly good chance I will be changing the brand engines I run. I have been talking to others about a engine sponsorship.

Wonder if he has placed and received an order in the last month or so. No do not keep bothering him as time will tell and I hope for those that are going to keep running STS engines he does not have any problems. I am uncertian on what I am going to do in the long run but for now I have 2 new STS engines as well as one use STS with over 5 gallons on it running fine and will be running them. I all so have an OS V Spec and RG in good working order.

For just a little more then what a GO Tech cost I would try the Pico Evo 2 or the Jammin. Have never run one but if I where to get another engine right now that is what I would try. Go Tech around $210 Picco around $230.
