Just as the title says has anyone progressed into forward flight with their AXE CP??? If so how does it handle in forward flight? I havnt seen anything posted on this subject yet, just wondering if anyone bit the bullet and gave it a try im hoping to be up to that point where i can try a little slow FF not sure when though. Is anyone else thinking of even trying it yet?

I have been very anxious about the FF, but some of the things that have been getting in the way are:
1) not finished with feeling very comfortable with hovering and recovering from a bad hover.
2) not happy with the given battery and finally upgraded to the Great Planes 910maH ( I don't want to FF for 3 min only to have to EMRGY land.
3) waiting for the weekend when It is not raining.
4) need to find a larger field. (may investigate my Local Club site), but then again, I was finding it hard to justify driving 30 min to a flying field to fly for 5 min)
The 091Mah is satisfying that justification

Forward flight is decent but you definately need a large area since it responds swift.
My helimax EZ I fly around through the house and in circles around poles in the basement.
I have tried larger helicopters in the basement but its not so easy for me yet.
Try checking community buildings, churches, schools and libraries for a room to fly.Our local library has a fairly decent size activity room.
We might even try to get a few people 3-5 to meet to help each other fly etc. Other than the groups that meet from the hobby shops/clubs.
