So a few days ago my main motor stopped working I check the voltage at the connector and its good so im guessing the motor is friend because its sending voltage to the quick disconnect.

Well i call warranty and i tell them the situation and they ship me out a new motor with no questions asked. So waiting for the motor i have nothing else to do i decide to mess around with my heli. So i bring the voltage tester back out and check the voltage on the actual motor itself. To my surprise there is nothing. Next thing i know my room looks like so..

After tearing it all apart i heat up the quick connect wires on the motor to remove them. After they are removed from the motor i put one at a time into the heli quick connector and find out one isnt getting power to the bottom of the wire! Im thinking YES maybe i wont have to wait forever for my replacement motor.
So i peal back the heat-shrink and notice the wire hardly even touching the metal connector. i heat up the metal connector with my solder, drop in some solder, and then put the wire back in. Now its nice and snug. After that i cover it back up with heat-shrink to make it factory like

So far so good. So now i put both connectors back onto the heli, connect my electrical testor to the end of the wires, and floor the heli to fill throttle. I look down and see.....

Exactly what i was hoping for!!
Getting closer

So now everything is finally put back together. I cross my fingers, connect the battery and get this

So if your main motor "fails" be sure to check all the wires throughly But hey atleast i have a back-up main motor on the way

Glad you fixed it. Wish you would have captured a photo of the bad connection.

Now how about some vids of you hovering.
