I've gone the cheap route.

This connector
http://www.commonsenserc.com/product_info.php?cPath=32_39&products_id=85

can be used with this balancing charger
http://www.bphobbies.com/view.asp?id=V869660&pid=W323375

and ThunderPower batteries as long as you REVERSE the wires into the connector. You have to carefully press on the tab in the connector and remove the wires, then reinsert them so black is at the negative and red is at the positive as shown on the charger.

The reason I used this setup is because I was given the charger, so the only real cost was finding an adapter. I've been checking the voltage of my TP batteries and have found 2 batteries that were out of balance (of 3 batteries). I highly recommend getting a balancer to keep from having battery fires.

Do you have an old computer and a multi-tester laying around? If so there is a 5v and 12v regulated rails in the computer power supply just take one of the HDD molex plugs find the 12v leads and you now have a good 12v DC power supply. I use the same computer PS that I am typing on now.

It's not a silly question. I'm sure you could fabricate an adapter to make the battery and charger work together, but since I'm not familar with Blade OE chargers it may not be safe. You may have a better chance at an answer if you posted this question on the E-Flite board. I'm sure people there are familiar with that charger's capabilities.

Does it look like your GreatPlanes 910 Mah pack balance adapter will fit into the 11.1 volt charger slot? There should be four pins. Be carefull and check polarity.

If you could post some pictures, it would help.

This battery looks like it has a white connector that would work. Again, check polarity before plugging it in. In post #27 above I found I had to reverse the order of the wires to use the same type of charger on Thunder Power batteries with an adapter.

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXNYJ1&P=0
So does this one.

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXLUJ3&P=0
NOT this one.

So, it depends on the battery you have. I didn't see a link to a picture of it in your above post.

I have, I hope, a simple question.
I"m new to electrics and want to keep it small for now. In other words I'm tired of spending money to try to get one little airplane flying
THis is what I have.
Triton2 charger.
Thunder power 3 cell lipo with balance lead
GP ElectrifyEquinox lipo cell balancer.

Is there any way to charge the Thunderpower lipo with what I Have? The battery plug for balancing will not fit the ones with the balancer.
Can I bypass the balance plug and charge directly for now?
