Status: offline 		No I used 0% with 18% oil. I'll switch to a lower oil content after two gallons of fuel per ST recommendation. It would idle at 1800 RPM and pulled a APC 20x8 at 6800 rpm very rich.

Status: offline 		Well, over a year and 1/2 after starting this thread, I've finally began (and almost completed) my construction (LOL).
I must say this is one of the best kits I've ever built, once you get past the two pages of "instructions." About all the instructions are good for are laying out the pieces of lumber you will need for each sectionso that you are sure to use the correct wood. Other than that, you might as well throw them in the trash. You will definitely need some building experience before tackling this thing.
But with lots of big pieces, I must say the box emptied pretty quickly. I've just had time to work on it here and there. Probably 40 hours total into it right now, with maybe 10 left. All I have left to do is cover the LE (once I get ahold of some more ultracote carbon fiber covering), and install the radio gear, balance, and fly!
First I will post a few pics in the framing stage. I didn't take many pics, so here is what I have so far:

Status: offline 		And Here are some of the most recent shots. As I said earlier, I still have to get some more CF covering and finish the LE. I'll post more pics when I get her all finished.
Right now it is 11.4 lbs, minus the little bit of covering left and the radio gear. I'm using a G23 with a 15 X 8 prop, which is supposed to deliver around 14 lbs of thrust. Hopefully it will fly.
