ORIGINAL: markind Dude takeoff is the easy part. I never had trouble there. Its landing the b|tc# that's been giving me gray hairs, but no more! I am now getting landings good enough to post on YouTube! Well, here I am tipping over during warm-ups on the first run today: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_U8hdyF0amE But that's not a launch problem. That's me giving one too many Idle-to-WOT tests and running out of runway!!! Ok, this is how the last vid should have ended, with a nice throttle-up, rotation, and liftoff. http://tinyurl.com/5o369j BTW: Liftoffs are cleaner now that I have balanced the plane laterally. And now, ta da! The main goal of today's sorties - to capture a good landing on video!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hfURaNSQA_8 Yaaay!! Note the use of the Power Panel. I really like this gizmo. I really liked it when I tested the HAN3011 plug and found a nice glow level at 3 Amps, right in the narrow Green Zone on the amp meter. I can now confidently run the motor up while leaving the plug connected, knowing it won't overheat. If the current changes without changing the dial setting, its probably a plug ready to die. Its also cool because the starter and the electric fuel pump plugs right into it and that has a reversing switch for Fuel/Drain. Sweet! Oh BTW while I was doing my thing on YouTube I found the Nami guy that took his F-22 and electrified it. Very impressive - quiet and powerful. But, probably he is using big expensive LiPos, needing a big expensive charger. I'm good with the noisy, oily, smelly mess of NITRO for now. muhuhahahahaaa Nice landing. Congratulations. One suggestion.......you might want to reconsider your positioning when starting the airplane. As you crouch there next to the plane the blade seems to be centered on a line that bisects your knees. Losing a blade while crouched there could be painful indeed. Kneeling in front might be a better approach, then move behind to remove the glow starter after the engine is running. bob
