Looks like its based on the old Tamecat , by Jeff Troy and kitted by Altech .
It was a fun flying F14 , great concept and great flying plane
I can see this one without gear for about $200 , nice gray scheme , two bladed prop and it would look good

Those stinkers at Horizon jacked up the MSRP! I just saw it last weekend at the AMA show and the card attached to the plane said the MSRP was $449! Now at Horizon it shows the "Retail" as $600+ so that they can sell it for $449. Probably based on reaction they got at the show. Stinkers!

Maybe the "inflato" price is to pay Locheed Martin thier royalties.......... "Street price" is usually lower than MSRP, it's a mind game thing, I think..

either way they will probably offer it like the P51 with out the radio ect and bring the price down . I would love to bash this one , I was looking at the Vmar F18 but with there rep and a $349 price tag plus shipping I will wait for this one .

this is neat becasue from the loks of it I think its geared towards beginners. They label it a jaw dropping beginner and it certianly is. R/C has come a long way from the old AirVistas we used to fly

Nice to see the "cool" factor being applied to trainers. H9 is going where no one else has gone and kudo's to them. As far as the price point time will tell if it sells or not. I know if I was a beginner starting at a standard shaped RTF trainer at the LHS and had that next to it for another $100 id go back to mow lawns for another week to save more pennies to have the "cool" trainer.

I think its cool, wonder if they are going to sell the plane by itself later without all the newbie stuff.

If it's like the PTS Mustang the wing "bumps" and the flaps are removable. Also I believe the Mustang is avialable with out engine and radio.
