Hi all I have a Inferno 7.5 with a O.S. 21 RZ-V01B motor and using Futaba radio. I have been out of the racing scene for about 12 years now. I have been flying planes and helicopters competitivly all over the U.S. for the last 10 years. I am getting a little burned out and its time to take a little break and get back into some car racing. I live in the San Jose area (Bay Area). Just want to know where all the racers hang out. Talk to you all later....

Hi mcrawley,

I used to live down there, and though I wasn't into cars I was hitting all the shops that deal in cars. The two that had a bunch of racing activity going on was Castle Hobbies and Hobby World, both in San Jose. Hobby World has a big dirt track outside the shop, and the guys at Castle are heavily into asphalt racing. Check out their Web site for more info: http://www.castlehobbies.com/Page.cfm

Hey dude,

Gary's bro. here. I used to race about the same time you did. Raced electric off road in Milpitas and Livermore.

Gary and I checked out the track at World Hobbies, small but well done.

Also I think Antioch is still going (indoor track but they run nitro). Someone told me there is a track in Hayward or Newark. Haven't seen that one yet.

I"m gonna work with Dave on the club track. And am seriously thinking about a nitro buggie, but can't make up my mind.

See ya at the field.

Scott H.
