It would be hard to estimate speed but I can tell you that between the stock muffler (with baffle in) and I tested with an OS-35FP muffler (happens to fit)
APC 9x8, OS-8 plug, 5% nitro and I am at sea level With the Stock muffler I got 13.7K
With the OS-35FP mufler I had everything else the same I got 15.1K
With the UT I got 16.2K and these numbers are on an older very used Screamin'-48 that my brother could not even get to run right (he is weird like that).
I currently have 3 but am running ole #1 still.

I have that same set up but don't have it installed on my current Funjet. What prop are you using on that to get that kind of speeds and what kind of current are you drawing. Thanks in advance.

"Hi, my name is Doug and I am a Speed Plane Addict. I have been a Lover of Speed Planes for.....35 years, and with the help of the Revvers Brother-hood I hope to make my planes even FASTER !!! Don't let my wife/girlfriend see this....I promised her I would "tame it down a bit". : ( heh heh heh )
Maybe I can get #222. I love all things speed, boats, cars, and planes. After a long hiatus I competed in my first pylon race in 16 years in April and I am finally getting to the point where I can fly my Shrike without my knees knockin' too much; and that was finally without use of the throttle until I was ready to land. hehe
