Easystern,
I am IMPRESSED!! You have quite a collection of toys.
Believe it or not I worked for Chevrolet when that Camaro was new. I set up the new ones as they came off the truck.
You have done a beautiful job on the Camaro . I had a 68 with an aluminum rod 302 in it many years ago, and looking at yours sure brings back memories.
I was never fortunate enough to meet Eddie Hill and Ercie, but I followed their yellow dragster for years. One of the good guys.
Thanks

Thank's... Earl

maybe my SS was in your hands ,originally it was 327 with 4 speed muncie .have to take a look at the build sheet in what plant it was build.
your nova is real hardcore racer and also a max stroked small block,i like that.
at the time when i had build the SS (took me 3 years) ,635ci was at this time the maxed stroke BB available ,now they go to 700 +
scott shaffirof did build the engine in NY and dynoed it.

i am a big fan from Edie Hill and Don Garlits , i met don at his museum in ocala Fl and at moroso sportspark couple of times personally ,very friendly guy and down to earth.

Sorry.... Guys I know it is an RC Board

Drag Racing is a little slow right now for me, because of a 3 year old boy and some bad economy as in every country and sunoco 110 octane is 10 $ a gallon

that's why i did make some new plans for 2010 to be not an to old fart with 48......
you do have also a nice sundowner with a verry nice engine !! , FUNNY !! ... i just will start my first reno racing pylon season here in germany for 2010 http://www.reno-racing.de/ with two 50 size sundowners and a 50 webra and 50 weston uk engine.first race is in april and 4 in total this year. all has to be stock on 10x7 apc ,only a special muffler is alowed . Dragracing in the Air

Wow, Denny great shot, Gorgeous plane, A jug?

The wide angle shot made the gut look smaller, your dads done alot of portrait photos before so knows how to frame you

Here's a bit of Benny to keep you amused.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=810TQyT2KXI

How you getting on with that screemin deamon of yours.. Mikes delaying making the kit again which is a shame because it looks awesome. You done a fantastic job on that covering. Have you broken 200mph?

I just ordered the mini Tigershark yesterday and a new weston (webra race tuned) 36v1 engine as I wrote the other one off in the outlaw.
The mini is also flat section but have been advised to stick 1/2 inch sheet on top and bottom to make some kind of laminar section as this engine could be to hot for it causing the plane to wallow at high speed flight.

Guys,

my field uses a paved runway and obviously i cann't land the plane without undercariage.

Is there any way on fitting some wheels or something ?

Kostas,
Just make a undercarriage like the Germans used durin WWII with the 163 Comet. Theres dropped off after takeoff, but instead make it stay on the model. It would really slow the model down though, and make it quite a a bit heavier. I attached a video showing a carriage on a German 163 Comet. You just will have to be really creative.

Oh No ..........i didn't see anything in the rules and application stating that a maiden had to be performed prior to posting a picture..........doh!!

figured since i have been building and flying since 1963 i would be OK...........haven't crashed a plane either since flying RC back in 69'..............

well i'd withdraw the pic, but it flew right off the board about 6 hours ago ....no, i take it back, it needed a 1/2 turn of the right aileron clevis to set the trim on my 12z back to nuetral......darn, i'll get it right on bird 2 tho

oh yeah, the BSE 50 is smokin

No worries about the post before maiden. I just always have had bad luck with planes I did that with. Sounds like Razor has had the same experience LOL. I've got a new Seeker that I'm dying to post a pic of but am afraid of that Karma chick getting me.

Ultra cote is what I use the most of and have been very pleased with it so far. Lately I'm getting into more glass and paint. If the maiden goes well tomorrow I'll post a pic

An OS .61 is 8-9 oz heavier , and does not wind like this one does. This is a "SB .40 size case short stroke engiene". As far as speed goes, I am not sure, and will not gestimate, but it is turning well over 15,000 with a 10-8 APC. It not only goes like a scalded rabbit, but you can also pull it into acelerated "Unlimited" vertical untill you can't see it no more. I am hoping to find someone with a "Modern Video Camera" and maybe get some footage for you guys. A couple guys in the club have 8MM "OLD" camera's.
