Oh wow, these are great looking Fokke! The fittings, inspection ports and such on the wings look fantastic.

You really are making this look quite realistic.

Hi Fokke,

So you just push this into the litho plate???
How thick is your litho.
I'm sure you have strong hands, these nice nurses must love that.

Thanks,
Tom

Fokke, I've seen (and flown the SiSt) both of these planes in person. Both are excellent proof of German engineering quality.

The only issue is they (especially the Lavochkin) are very expensive. The 1/3rd scale La-7 is just about what I make for salary in a month and the engine it requires would be almost as much! The 1/4th scale isn't all that much cheaper and when all is said and done a full month of salary is gone!

I like the SiSt stuff, and over at http://www.rscalebuilder.com, Stephan the owner of SiSt has been sharing a lot of information on how he designs and builds his kits. I wouldn't mind picking up one of these some day. They fly very well and are very easy to paint. About the only thing I would change on the SiSt kit is the deepness of the rivets. They are too heavy on the model.

Well, things are like that, as Vlado said is a good stuff, and they cost alot of money, but the quality is exceptional. I agree that rivets are too deep, and this is why I make mine after examining many pictures and drawings to be sure that all details will be realistic.

Here is few pics form the past of Bulgarian Airplane production. All of these planes were build in Bulgaria, and most of them where designed in Bulgaria too.
