For torsional rigidity and also cost, here is my answer. Now let's see who disagrees.

I've used both on my foam wings. I only use the first one when I am low on sheeting. Most of the time I just edge sand and glue sheets together like the 2nd image. If I need strength, I put on a sheet of thin carbon matting down first.

Hi Fokke -

I've been searching through the thread trying to remember what your technique was for making the rivets?

a couple more... I know this setup is for FW but same Idea could be used on the 109. Looks flimsy at first glance but the plunger shaft in the syringe is aluminum tubing with a barely smaller diameter than the plunger itself .then the whole syringe assembly fit's into another aluminum tube fixed into the tail .The tip of the syringe I glued shut with CA .THe Plunger has some drag so it feels like a damped shock . Cheap like borscht and works awesome

привет Румен,

I speak Russian so I know the letters. Also I visited Bugaria ( Plovdiv, Sofia, Targoviste, and other cities) because of work, and I have friends in Bulgaria in Stara Zagora. So I picked up some basic words.

My project: G6 -2 meters. http://www.kullonjarat.hu/kullonjarat/modellezes/Modellindex.htm click on BF 109 :-) . You may find some other projects like bird and glider, etc. The Messer is one of the reason I started RC modelling some 10 years ago. As I developing different skills in model building I make slow progresses with the Messer project. As the things are going some 3 more year and it will be ready for maiden :-))). On the other hand I got loads of ideas from your project so serious modifications will be scheduled with mine.

The reason I am asking for the foil thickness that I have some kg of 160 mm wide foil in roll which is used to seal home delivery food packages. This is somewhat tricker than the household foil but I feel it would be better to get something heavier.

Buna Sara domnu Murguel,

that gonna be a great squadron!

On the other hand I am searching the web in Hungary for aluminum foil but the 0,2 0,3 category is just out of any offer here.

the household light ones are available, then the one I have is something 0,02 then there are

does anyone have an idea where to find is. It is a raw material to some particular industry or production?

So:

Lacu noc

la revedere (buna nopte ???)
sziasztok!
