MAN am I SO jealous right now. That is one exciting moment when it comes to slicing the packing tape off that box crate. A 1/5 109E has been on the to do list for a long time...to have one like that to build is one sweet achievement.

Yes thanks guys I am indeed very happy and I would have been very jealous if it had been you who were reporting opening this box of goodies.
A public 'thank you ' to Mr Rumen once again.
I will start a thread so look out for it but I am in no position to start the build at the moment but I will ask lots of questions both there and here.

Cheers again,

Brad

Hi Rumen, can you please tell me what resin you used for the moulding of the kit?
I am not any good and identifying fibre glass resins etc.

I quick search reviles three common types used ,,, Polyester, Vinyl ester and Epoxy. Does the green tinge to the glass indicate you used a Polyester? IE, resin with a small amount of catalyst?

I must say here that your glass work is first class mate.

Cheers,

Brad

Hi Brad
the green colour is from the mold release PVA (Polivinil alchohol ) from Voschme Germany . The real colour s transpะฐrent and is EPOXY I do not use anything other than. The resine epoxy who I use is from Grmany , if you want to know the name of the resine is not problem but must to coll of my friend who selling me.

You can use for gluing the old West sistem , for the most details who I build in the kit I use peel ply fabric. This fabric makes the surface rough, so there is no need to use sandpaper, but if you want you can use the sandpaper

So , before 2 days we was on the airport for some tests, result is very rear (balance) center of gravity, the result is sะพme very little damage of landing gear , and several little problem in the ailerons of one of the wing. The mistake is of my friend , for the next time he will know about this things so now he have 1 week for rebuilds

Thanks for the info Rumen about the epoxy.
Did your friend not check the CG before attempted flight or did you maybe get the calculations wrong on the plans?
Did the model fly or was it more of an aborted take off???

Brad

his fault, checked the CG but is not made โ€‹โ€‹by my plans ......... nothing to fear but this will be a lesson for hem The CG must be like in my plans or 25% or 12 sm from the front angle , but can be and 23% . Between 23-25%
Yes the model had fly , but to short cose the control was hard owing to bad CG
The nex time will be better I think

OK, so it will fly (again ) so I don't have to be the first to fly. I am so happy there is still a model to fly there.
Silly him for not following plan's CG.

Now you must post a Youtube clip Mr fokke of your creation doing what it was built to do.

Cheers,

Brad
