I only wish my Bulgarian was good!

40mm sounds better come to think of it. That is a 1/5th scale plane.

I was going to ask about the leading and trailing edges, but then I remembered that you are doing a composite/glass wing...

Are you going to do the radiators as individual pieces?

Is the wing going to have the flaps that make the Bf109 so noticable?

Great Fokke! Looking forward to watching you finish the wings. If they come out as good as the fuse, you got yourself a real winner there!

This is how I am going to paint mine:

Well its said it is a nightfighter from NJG1. But it doesn't have the flame dampeners over the exhaust ports, nor the sheilds over the gun bays. I sure wouldn't want to fly it as a night fighter as every time the engine has a hiccup or you fire the machine guns on the nose, you will lose your night vision!

here it is so far, its 1/6th scale, from SkyShark.

I have a bit of work to go on it so far... which is why I want one of yours when they are available, plus yours is bigger too!

Well I do know that in 1942 Bulgaria requested night fighters from Germany due to all the high altitude reconnaissance flights by Tommies and Yanks. But for whatever reason the Germans said NIEN! But due to all the raids on the Rumanian oil fields, the Krauts sent some Bf 109G's and Dewoitine D.520 fighters in 1943 along with some radar units for the Air Warning Service.
