Status: offline 		you want a 400 can size motor.. anything smaller will get very very very hot.. the detta is too heavy and the gearing isnt motor friendly..

just go brushless..

Status: offline 		i finally stopped the rear hub hinge pin from moving

with both my buggy and truggy i had a problem with the rear hub pins working htheir way out to the wheels causing the wheels to not turn as freely..
i took the pins out placed them in a dremel.. and turned the dremel on high.. i then used that metal cuting disc and made a groove on each end of the pin. and then i placed an e-clip on there.. and .... no more movement

one less thing i have to worry about while racing

Yep- I had the same issue. I just used the ones from my alloy rear hubs that already had notched ends. Good tip!!!

Permax should be here Monday! Can't wait!

buy the robinson racing pinion the 19t metric.. just incase you get the 3.2mm shaft.. the motor is a perfect fit.. you will notice a big difference between the two motors.. also is the esc set to lipo high or low..
are you running on dirt or carpet.... what tires?
