Diff gears should be out mid-late july. The last e-mail on a release date said 80-90 days from April 25th. I'll be sure to get them.

Still dont know what brand, just know they are being made for the toyz and will fit on the duratrax ball diff.

will the steel gears only fit the dtx ball diffs? If so, I'm out of luck. I've been using atomic ball diffs. On the bright side, all of my detta's that are equiped with atomic diffs + delrin gears have been holding up quite well for me. I haven't toasted a ring or pinion in over three months.

It looks to me like you can drill out the hole in the middle of the gear. You might need to get new balls too. other then that it sure looks like trying.

How do you plan to suggest securing the gear and getting it drilled perfectly centered?

Should secure the same and there is already a hole drilled in the gear so when making it bigger it shouldn't get off centered.

I have a vendetta ST is there any way to convert it to a buggy? if so what parts do i need and where do i get them from

You can, but the cost of the parts separately is almost as much as buying a new roller (around $100). If you really want too, you will need buggy shock towers, body mounts, shocks, lower arms, upper arms, knuckles, turnbuckles, drive shafts, wheels/tires, and body. You can get everything at tower hobbies.

I got my brushless vendetta today and stripped a diff pinion. I'll have to do some shimming I think. What are the best shims/ way to shim?

Just get the body and mod it [minimal] to fit. Most people [like me] who got the buggy are wanting to convert to an ST for the wider track as it's more stable. People who want to go from an ST to a buggy seem to want it more for aesthetic reasons, in which case just change the body. Maybe shock tower and front shocks if you're really keen. But honestly I don't see the point.

TRACK TESTING,,,,, PERMAX/FLIGHTPOWER LIPO

went to www.ocrcraceway.com to practice and possibly race (if enough minister showed up)... on the website in the video section ,it shows the track design..... I did not run the NEU,, waiting on steel diffs,,, the track was fun,, but traction was hard to find...

the vendetta flew with authority... the owner was actually surprised and commented that the truck was dialed.... (I havent done anything to the car in almost a year,, set up is old) ,,,,

the table-single jump by driver stand was easily cleared,,,, glad to see it fly through the track.... even some of the drivers were surprised at how fast it was and how well it handled the course,,,,, I did gothrough 2 diffs though in the short time I was there.....

got to buy some more tires,,, gonna get D-bars but use a softer foam,,,,

plan on sending Proline some more emails requesting tires again
