I have had good times with my s30, I'm a park and construction zone basher, not a racer. Honestly , with no experience racing, I believe MY S30 would hold up 45-50 minutes.

The is best for Redcats, serious beating and racing and they wont hold up very long. Backyard Grand Prix , yea its good at that.

Yeah they are great for that. I would like to find a gravel pit or such to bring mine to or something similar. My son has built a bmx track on land where he's at and can't wait to try it out with the truck.

depending on the setup it can be setup incorrectly, maybe the low voltage cutoff is set too high?

if it didnt come with a program card you will have to do it thru the esc, if it didnt come with instructions on how to do that you will have to find them online. it can be a little complicated, it works with series of lights and blinks.

best bet is a program card, makes it alot easier, you can loose a few hairs on your head trying to program thru the esc.

Yeah, i have the same truck..I also found it a little confusing.  But finally got it right!
1 - have both ESC and Transmitter turned off.
2 - Turn on Transmitter
3 - Hold Set key down (little button on the ESC)
4 - Turn on ESC while holdling down the set key...keep holding it down, you will first flash through about 9 red lights, then one green light..then a two green lights, then three greenlights...right after you count the three flashing greenlights, release the set key.
5 - Now press the set button again. this will put you in the low voltage cut off section.  Choose your cuttoff voltage. I set mine to 2.6v.
Once you have it set just turn off the ESC.

According to Redcat they are trying to get programming cards as a regular stock item.

Volcano EPX Pro - Running 2s lipo.

I'm constantly bending the front dogbones... And I've noticed that the shocks don't seem to dampen all that much.  This truck has been driven for maybe a total of 2 hours over the last 3 weeks.  I've bent the front dogbones almost every day.  Last night I installed two universal shaft kits in the front in hopes that this would fix the bending of the dogbones, but after about 20 minutes with very minimal wrecking, the shafts were bent so much that they were hitting the springs on the shocks.

This is when I noticed that the shock dampening was virtually nothing.  When this truck arrived I never checked the oil in the shocks (not quite sure yet how to do this), I'm just wondering what wt. oil they come preloaded with? Also, what's a good wt. oil for bashing on a loose clay track?

Thanks in advance for the replies.

I use 30 weight for bashing and my shocks wher doing the same thing so I stretched the springs out a little bit .Redcat said to replace the drive cups every 2 quarts of fuel. Look at the drive cups if there is a groove wore in them you should replace them that could be the problem.Hope this helps .???
