would the set screws in the drive cups have to be too loose or too tight to make only the front wheels spin like crazy while the rears hardly move

I found it ...the allen screw that holds the dogbone cup to the rear input shaft had come loose and backed off. Put it back in place and tightened the screw and instant power to the rear wheels. Now what would cause the engine to die when running hard. Temp was only about 185 and it seems as if it were flooding but its not. I have it tuned fairly well according to everything I have found and I even tried to tune it again but to only do the same thing. Could it be the fuel? I was using traxxas 20% and the LHS was out of that and Odonnells when I went to buy some more. All they had was Monster Horsepower by Trinity. $24 and it got me running again but only to have issues, hopefully not fuel related.

i like the trinity, the traxxas isnt bad but has more oil and can make internal one ways start to slip.

when you say your throttle servo moves, do you mean a little glitch or do you mean full movement? Sometimes glitching can just happen if you too close or too far away or there is interference, make sure the antennas are fully extended, good batteries and the crystals are in tight.

dont do it, lol

2nd gear is too high for the truck and you will have no power with it, for the car and buggy the gearing is fine but for the trucks, its no good

need help I am going through glow plugs like they are candy. I have a volcano SV vx .18 using the OS a3 glow plug tried other plugs and have the same problem. Run them for a while and they are done. Max temp mid to high 270s. Blue smoke coming from pipe small amount of oil there too. It will run for a while and then just stop (sometime by itself, sometimes when it rolls, sometimes when I kill it) The plug does not appear to be damaged.Around the base it appears brand new. It is a little wet not too much though. The coil looks brand new (does not appear sanded or dull) but the coilt is broke usuallt about in the middle. I am LOST. Anybody have any ideas?

could be 2 things.............270 is kinda hot for a drive in check..............need to fatten it up..............if its 270 when you come in its 310 out there and if it stumbles at top end thats a clue that its to lean. Other thing is bad luck with plugs. I have dumped 3 of them in 10 minutes and even had one eat and engine......................its one of those 2 things m8

Check and tighten screws every time you put it to bed, along with after run oil in the engine and setting it to bottom dead center while its still warm

about the dogbones doing that to your drive cups, mine did the same thing, but you can do this to keep them from being so lose.
