Hey everyone, forum is still great and helpful! I have a question that may be dumb or may not be. I noticed on my volcano that i can move the spur gear from front to back inside the differential box until it hits both sides (casing of diff box) either way. Is this normal or is something wrong? Doesnt really seem to be hurting it but thought i might check and see what you fellas thought.

i found the upgrade made a good improvement all around. You need to use a 13 tooth bell with it though to keep low end power.

ok good, because i actualy prefer the low end to high end, but high end is always fun too. And i did get the 13 tooth in the package from clermont.

I would have thought a direct drive would produce more low end but u always learn new things.

i think there is a 42 tooth but it give more high end than low end power, more teeth more low end on the spur and the opposite on the clutch bell

02112 and 05112 are the only ones you can use for the single speed setup (clermont) the other are for the electrics or the other cars and stuff

so i take it that the 44 tooth is the stock spur gear for the direct drive.

Be pacient. Just wait for the dogbone to come in so u don't break anything else. Nice Volcano by the way and also, it won't be 3 wd drive. It will only be two because of the way the differentills are designd
