good, i am tired of the anocanda or the victory tires from traxxas, the victory tires wore dowm on my jato 2.5r before i was finished with the break in, the anocanda's on the 3.3 seem to last longer

So what size are our stock wheels? Are they 2.8?

I'd like to maintain the wheel/rim size and as I think it looks good, will these wheels on this page work as replacements? http://imexrc.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=4

Also, does anyone have a link to wheel hub adapaters? You know from our 12mm to say a 14mm?

any jato rear will work. the jato tires mount differently than the regular tires, they slip into a groove from the side not from the top

ehroof, when you say they mount differently ... you mean the tires to the wheels, right?

I've never had them seperated to see how they mount up.

Will this pose a problem in re-using the stock tires?

Before I go too far with wanting them, does anyone have a link or know where I can get a 12mm to 14mm hub adapter?

the tire mounts to the wheel differently with the jato. you couldnt use jato tires with the stock volcano rims. I dont think they make 12/14mm adapters. i only know of 14/17 and 17/23

Okay, I guess that answers that ;-) so I can't get Jato rims for my truck

Does anyone have the stock Volcano SV rims available or does anyone on here have a set they would sell?

Jato rear rims are 12mm hex, you would need 4 rear rims and 4 tires

Glad to see a volcano thread only. I want to buy some spare glow plugs for my vertex .18 engine. The plug that came out of it appears to read y3. The guy at hobbytown sold me a Mccoy mc59. When I matched it up to the one that came in the engine, it has much longer threads. I'm thinking it will strike the top of the piston if I use it. One thread said to use OS A3. A little help will be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks in advance. Sure will be glad when weather clears so I can run my truck!
