I am a little confused. Are the shockwave and the Tornado the same thing? I saw the picture of someones shock wave on page 19 and it looks almost exactly like the Tornado except it has some more aluminum parts. Are they the same price? Thanks for the help.

What kind of increase in power/speed can I expect with the Shockwave stock and then after adding the HPI header team associated tuned rpm pipe?

Alright thanks. Hey I'm making a list of what I need to buy when I order the car itself...heres what I got so far...

starter kit
os A3 glow plug
20% nitro fuel
after run oil

anything else i am forgetting?

Also what would be better to get first...an alluminum upper plate, or the pipe and header?

Ya that's the right one, you either had the gears meshed too tight or the engien came loose, if you meshed them too tight then they didn't shred they melted.

Ya, it's more than likley the engine screws were loose and the engine slide over or slide out of place a tiny bit when you tightened the screws down.

ok my engine is really hard to turn over i know my pull start was going bad but would this cause it to not turn over? it feels like the engine is flooded when pulling if that helps but its not flooded i checked

But it pulls over easily with the glow plug out yes or no? If it does I would loosen up the glow plug so ya can let out some of the compression and put a few drops of either after run oil or 3 in 1 oil to lube up the cylinder alittle, put a few drops of fuel in the carb to prime it and then see if it will start.

I just got my tornado bb pro all broke in and took it out on the street to see what it had for top end. The first two passes it wouldn't hit second gear at all, next run it hit second after it topped out for a while and now it went back to not shifting at all. Is there any way to ajust the shift point? Is that what the two set screws on the transmission are for? Which way do I turn them in or out? Anything would help, I'm more of a try it and see type of guy but I don't want to mess anything up.
Thanks
