whats a good rim to use. I got a pair of Proline bow tie tires coming for the back. These factory tires just don't cut it. I run more on pavement then dirt. What is a good tire for dirt, when I decide to run dirt.
Also what is a tuned pipe and header that will bolt straight on.

hey Ehroof, can u give me a link to these Wheels + tyres...are they a direct fit onto the buggy?
Thanx Nathan

edaslan -> RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread (3/6/2007 4:40 AM)

hi guys
my xp start for secend and turnd off by itself and any time i removed the glue plug it happend maybe the problem is plugs is bad and i can tune the engine i tried every thing all the ways but steal the gas is too high
help me !!!

evlfkr -> RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread (3/6/2007 5:02 AM)

If its the stock plug, there only good for a couple of runs. Use an A3 plug. Did you mess with any of the settings on the engine? Do not touch the low end needle (the one in the center of the throttle arm on the carb it should be flush) If it needs to be broken in turn the high end needle clockwise gently until its resist, then turn it out 2 1/2 turns. Make sure the head bolts are tight and the carb and o-ring are compressed down onto the throttle body. (don't force it) Use a hot glow starter and it should start with a couple of pulls. Let me know?!

Nathan9492 -> RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread (3/6/2007 6:28 AM)

i'd say that ur glow plug is bad

frekbynature2002 -> RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread (3/11/2007 2:15 AM)

What is another brand of pull start that can be used on the BB
Mine uncoiled and broke. I don't want to deal with redcat if I don't have to

ehroof -> RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread (3/11/2007 2:35 AM)

hpi bro, for the nitro star .15

frekbynature2002 -> RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread (3/11/2007 2:38 AM)

Thanks again, I need to quit being so hard on the thing, LOL
Well Another thing what is a good reasonable priced tuned pipe for it to

ehroof -> RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread (3/11/2007 2:40 AM)

i like the associated rpm pipe, its less than $20

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXBMH0&P=7

frekbynature2002 -> RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread (3/11/2007 2:49 AM)

Thanks again, I was looking at that but wasn't sure

ehroof -> RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread (3/11/2007 2:50 AM)

anytime bro

frekbynature2002 -> RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread (3/11/2007 9:04 AM)

Now one of the back wheels won't turn. It rotates when the RPM is very high, but other than that it won't rotate the same time as the other does. It locks up, but i can turn it by hand

ehroof -> RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread (3/11/2007 6:27 PM)

you mean wont turn when you are driving it, like it wont spin?

frekbynature2002 -> RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread (3/11/2007 6:39 PM)

Yes, it starts to turn high higher RPM than usual. The others turn fine but not the 1 back. I thought something was maybe jammed at the dog bone, but I found nothing. I'm able to turn free by hand, but not when driving

ehroof -> RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread (3/11/2007 6:40 PM)

sounds like something inside of the diff, when you turn it by hand does the other side turn in the oposite direction and visa versa

frekbynature2002 -> RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread (3/11/2007 6:48 PM)

yes the other turns oposite direction and vise versa

ehroof -> RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread (3/11/2007 6:58 PM)

wow bro, thats a little crazy, when you are driving it, does that one wheel stayed locked up, it doest spin?

frekbynature2002 -> RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread (3/11/2007 7:03 PM)

yes, causes me to dig a hole cause one side locks up. When i get it going, it pulls cause of it and i have to run it hard to get it to spin just a little. I'm at a stand still with this one. Thought a rock was jammed, but nothing is there

ehroof -> RE: Redcat Racing Tornado Thread (3/11/2007 7:14 PM)

i would say its inside the diff, or a bearing is going bad, it only happens when it is under load
