BTW guys on a previous post in this forum I posted this subject:

On another note, I have found some 3 to 4 shoe clutch designs that fit SG shaft engines, if you guys are interested, below are some links:
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXBZT6&P=7
http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXD218&P=7

FYI even though OFNA told me their clutch kit will fit it doesn't, so dont waste your money buying these kits to upgrade from a 2 shoe clutch to a 3 shoe clutch.
I think I might try to tap 3 holes on the stock flywheel and then buy a clutch nut that will accept 3 clutch shoes and springs. I will let you know how this endeavor goes!!

Is there a spur gear (from another manufacturer) that matches up with the stock one? I need to replace the one thats in my UW but seeing how redcat is "out of stock" I'm waiting, is there something i can pickup at the local hobby shop that will work with my truck?

Bro, I would seriously scratch the nylon motor mounts or your going to loose that Axial engine. I sell them and run them in my savages and I can gurantee you that your looking for trouble in the near future with those nylon motor mounts and that engine. Other than that it looks nice and your going to be very happy with that engine, I would consider investing in Dog bones too, lol, that's a power house of an engine.

geeesss ezzz up on the zip tie hahahaha its only 90% done still waiting for parts . and the wheels are 2.8 front 2.2 back but because of the profile diffrance they are just about the same DIA so im sweet .

Kodiac400: its a axial .28 spec 1s , i nearlly got the RR but i had other stuff to spend the extra $30 on .

Megabash: man you so should bang on the sh.28 i cant belive how eazy the bb fitted in , you basicly just need new engine mounts and the way i did it , i still use the same slots in the stock chassi plate so you still have ajustment in and out .

yes i looked at getting thos mounts off ebay but i opted to make them .then next mod that is in the works is a custom top plate where the tank sits in and front mounts to . making it out of carbon fiber and it will house a brand new HYPER ST truggy fuel tank . il try and start that this weekend.
