Yeah they do look good. I really like the tread pattern.

Do they make them in the same size as the gladiators? (I might be a little concerned that the increased size would stress out the drivetrain - drive cups, dog-bones, etc..)

yes you can there are some guys on this forun that might have the parts for it or just try to find them on ebay. I was going to buy the parts to make one but I figured with the 100 dollars or so it would cost I would just go and buy a whole bunch of parts for the normal tsunami(about a year ago). I have been bashing the heck out of mine and break things all the time and still have parts.

firstrc does that bumper you have on the back of your tsunami act kinda like a wheelie bar?

Hey those are sick bodies on your tsunami. What ones are they? I sort of want to get a different body and paint one up and I'm looking for something with a race look. Do most of the 1/10 bodies from proline work or is it something different? Also I am thinking about upgrading my engine from the stock one to maybe an OS. Do any of you guys know what the exact OS engine and model number I need that will be hopefully a direct drop in replacement so I dont have to go nuts changing a bunch of different stuff? Also I have a set of rims with some dirt hawgs they are the old school yellow ones that look sweet on my nami but I want to get some chrome rims with some road rages and a set with some paddles, any suggestions on what ones work? I know they are 2.2 but I want to make sure I have the right offset. Any help would be great I know there are sort of a lot of questions but it looks like you guys have done a lot more custom stuff than I have to mine so want to order the right stuff lol. Thanks.

the body I have on mine is from a duratrax nitro evader(red body) the blue one is the stock amax cheetah body(same as the tsunami)
I dont know if any proline bodies work I just lucked out one day at the LHS and saw the red duratrax painted body sitting on the shelf for cheap. Your going to need this exact engine http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXGGP7&P=ML
And as far as the wheel and tire questions go I havent been able to use 2.2 rims without getting the wheel extinssions for the volcano pro(there a really really good upgrade i recomend them) if you look back a page or two in this thread youll find the links to the parts for the volcano.

Nice thanks a ton for the help eminentguitar! I ordered the volcano stub axles and the hex's for the wheels along with a bunch of other stuff I was going to "try" to get from redcat lol. Allaboutfunhobbies has a great web page it was really easy to find the parts I needed and they were ALL in stock haha NICE! I will most definately being much more business with that guy. It was so nice with everything in stock and it was easy to find the parts and there were pics of everything there haha I like pictures. I hate it when you go on a page and its just a part number, when you can see a pic of the part and know its right it makes things so much easier (for me anyways).Cheap shipping too. The cheapest I have ever seen. I hope the parts come fast now that would just be the icing on the cake. Keep up the excellent work Allaboutfunhobbies.com I will be returning. I know it sounds like a big plug but when I'm impressed I can't help but talk about it. Thanks for the link on the engine too. I think I'm going to see if my local hobby shop will order it in for me. If they do then I can probably save the money on shipping and just get it for the 109$. Has anyone tried a tsunami with the stock vx engine then switched to the O.S.? I'm just wondering if there is a big power difference. I think I'm gonna buy the OS then send in my vx and pay for the upgrade to the sh so I can run the OS and have an sh for a back up. Might as well use redcats engine replacement program too. They put it there for us and its such a great deal I hate to pass on it. Just wondering if anyone has been able to try all 3 of them and how much difference if any will be noticed. I would have to think there must be a difference between the stock motor and the name brand motors. Even though the stock one kicks butt. I just get used to running my mgt 8.0 and then get on the tsunami with the small block and feel like its missing something lol. I love my tsunami though just want to hop it up some. Hope between doing the engine and maybe a stiffer clutch should give it the kick I'm looking for.

well I run the cvrx 18 with these savage shoes they grab fairly good and have a decent stall. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXDLJ2&P=7 I think there is a huge differance in power when you compare the two of them. I can keep right up to a revo with the os 18tm in it. the only thing is im running a tall tire so my powerband really kicks in afterinm already going about 25 mph.

If it doesn't have the hole for the engine in it all ready you can make that work

Is there enough clearance for a universal shaft? Either the traxxas shafts, or look for upgraded shafts for the wheely king which I believe has 5mm input shafts (same as Redcat and the smaller Traxxas). The crawler guys often use the wheely king axles for crawling so if you can work out what center shafts they use, you know it'll stand up to the torque. I know the T-Maxx and some of the larger crawlers use 6mm input shafts so steer clear of shafts for those.
