is the spur gear the same size as the two speed? He that peice that i broke on the front of mine (2015) I mannaged to plastic weld it back together at work. I weld plastic bumpers all day lol. There made out of nylon

the spur is a 44 tooth on the single speed, the spurs on the 2 speed are 42 and a 47

ok so it will still have a decent top speed thats good to know. Can you get better shocks? mine are already loosing oil

no, tmaxx is a traxxas product, its a monster truck, you can use the shocks from that on the volcano and since the tsunami uses the same shocks as the volcano except 4 not 8, you can use 4 tmaxx shocks.

does the single speed tranny have that one way bearing in the spur gear? Can you get a metal spur gear anywhere?
