the 40% extra's have moved to the top of my short list for my next plane. i was wondering which one would be better for 3D the 330 or the 300? what weight are they coming in at with DA 150 on cans? i like the looks of the mid wing 300 but i want this one to be a 3D monster.

Hi Randy,

To be honest, I am not surre most of us can tell the difference between the two. so its place your money and take your choice. We are having a special on the 330 right now till the wrams show. ($1350)

Weight with cans shoud be right around 40 to 40.5 pounds, about 38.5 on standard mufflers. Of course remember this is probably the biggest 40%er out there (wingspan 126, sq in 2800) there are co's out there claiming 42% and larger but check the specs but check the specs and do the math. (The real extra 300-330L has a wing span of 26.5 feet)

The weight is going to be determined by how you stuff it!!!!!! If you follow directions you'll be fine. If you add everylitte gismo out there you'll add weight.

The 330 has won the NATS been in every shootout and the last 4 masters.

If you have any additional please feel free to give us a call at 704-799-1658
