"The reason why Saito is so light is because the Aluminum cylinder is Chromed, that is all, there is no hard metal sleeve like in the other makes of engine. It is what is known as AAC. the Rcv has a rotating Steal Cylinder for the valving. You sacrifice mass for size and efficiency. There will never be an engine which is as light as Saito. the RCV will always be in the hi end of the Mass spectrum. the decision must be made by you if you want a small engine which fits in a particular place, or a light engine which sticks out the side of the airplane.

Most warbirds are tail heavy anyway so nose weight is often needed.....Gimme an SP 2.00!

Hello,

I would suggest a 2 cylinder, inline. Just take 2 91CD.

Something a little smaller, say a .30, for all the popular vintage models like the Junior 60 or Black magic.

I have an RCV 58 which I just flew this weekend. It performs brilliantly! I'm going to be getting another one soon for my Beech Baron 58. I second the desire for a smaller version in the 40 sized range. For a twin or four engined ship the 58's are too large to keep the model within average size limitations for competition (AMA and FAI rules).

A flat twin for continental cowls.

I realise this would be tricky and may need belt drive to the rotating cylinders, (like the UAV twin).

Two .91 pots, and/or, 130 pots giving a 1.82 and a 2.60

I'd like to see a 1.4 RCV as well; I think the 1.3 I have fitted to my 1/5 scale Skylane will be borderline.

Somewhat off topic, but close . . .

Myself, I have *ZERO* interest in the CD line . . . I would like to see more offerings in the SP line!!!!

Yes, something that is compact and able to turn big props.
Either an inline CD combo.
Or some bigger SP
