Status: offline 		Could someone please tell me what the weight is for the Tracker III Transmitter. I see on the web site it is 10 pounds. Is that correct? I have some concerns about that much weight. I love the product but am worried about the weight.

Status: offline 		10lbs might be the shipping weight including everything such as the shipping box (which is a seriously heavy-duty outter box, and the normal-weight inner box).

The TX itself is basically "normal" weight. The weight of most TX's is determined more by the size of the LCD screen than anything. So TXs with smaller LCDs weigh less than the T3, but TXs with larger ones generally weigh more.

Status: offline 		The transmitter is 2 lbs, 2 oz. It is heavier than most radios, but also has a bigger case.
