I havn't really tried to bend it back, as it isn't twisted or bent up/down, just perfectly to one side a bit. I have put about 3 batteries or more through it this way and it really doesn't seem to affect me. The tail stays true, its just the heli in general moving about. I think its mostly me over compensating.

As for the blades, I am doind some searches to see what other models will fit as these stockers and too flimsly.

I would try and bend it back as much as you can. With the way it is setup now, it seems that it would not only be countering the rotation of the main blades, but pushing your heli slightly forward too. It isnt designed to do this, and you are not getting the maximum efficiency out of your tail motor this way.
Its not hard to bend back, like i said, so i suggest just trying to get it as straight as you can, it will only take 10 minutes prob.

Did you guys notice that your bird was easier to handle once you installed the new aluminum head? I was checking mine over last night, and there seems to be alot of play in the stock plastic swashplate. That can't be good for handling.

That's one of the things that's been in debate ....
When I first went to CNC (about 7 months ago now), my stock head was in very poor condition, so I have a biased opinion. I think sp0on may have upgraded his when the stock head was still in fairly good condition so his opinion may be more accurate.
I know it has to be better than a new stock head, I just don't know how much.

Yea my plastic head was in almost new shape (after a few crashes and replacements of parts), but then i had a pretty bad crash and decided to go for the cnc instead of just more plastic.
After getting it all set up nicely with all the blades balanced and the linkages even in length, the head runs very smoothly.
How this compares to the stock head is controversial (like NY said) because i found the stock plastic head to run smoothly when it was in new condition as well. If you are getting play in your plastic head, it would most certainly be non-existent in the cnc head.
If i were to chose between which is a better flight, its 100% yes to CNC.

Easier to handle though? I cant honestly say whether it is or not. As I made the transition from plastic to metal my skills also improved a lot, so it would be hard to tell which is accountable for that.

If you have the money, I would say the cnc and lipo are the most useful upgrades whether beginner or not.
Hope this helps.

Ya, I want both the CNC head and the LiPo setup as well. There is a guy in Canada here selling a complete 22E with the stock battery & charger, as well as a LiPo batter & charger comes with it. I may just buy the whole kit, then I have a spare part of everything, and the LiPo setup as well.

You could get that and a CNC head, install the head on the heli you have now, and then convert it to lipo as well, so then you have one stock bird that you know that works (plus lipo) and the one with CNC and lipo....if you catch me drift

That is just SUCH a nice looking bird. I think that kits looks great. It may end up being a little heavy for this size heli, unlike the 400 size which can support a little extra weight.
We will see : )

Just wondering what radio are you putting in? And this seems alot like a Walk 60. How's the price comparison?

Radio I'm using is a Multiplex Cockpit MM Tx and a JR RS6UL Rx, the Rx is positioned between the frame rails.
There is no comparison to the 60, this bird is much smaller. It is the same size as the 22e... but, as sp0on pointed out, it will be a bit heavier.
If you already have the radio and head the price is not so bad (around $200, figure up from there for head and radio).

Very Cool,

I was refering to the metal heads. and real nice frame. I got that Walk 60 a couple weeks ago that comes with metal upgrade the the head and tail. I was 229.oo with radio. The radio is poop. Tons of interference and glitches. I haven't crashed it yet. But have grounded it until I get a DX6. Heli is very solid. I put plastic sp[acers in the frame to allow for taller batteries. It worked really nice.

My 22e I just put the elf 4200v and esc on. I haven't flown it but I am assuming it will have radio glitches now that I have a esc onboard.

ANy way's very nice heli,

I think that 4200 elf motor would be better fitting on your walk 60. That is unless it already has a BL motor. The 4200 will be too much for the 22E.
This is what I hear from JD, because I wanted to get that 4200 for my 22E, but he says it wont fly well.
Let me know how you find it.
