Sounds like a mode 1 transmitter.

Here is a link to the 450. http://rvmshop.net/support/rcpl61011_Suprex-3DPro450_rtf_manual.pdf

You may ask if they will exchange the transmitter fo a mode II.

Good luck

Looks like the Suprex has the same problems Walkera has? Crappy electronics!

How many of you are still flying the Suprex choppers?

I haven't heard from any lately.

I found an all metal tail rotor to go on mine. It is the one from helirus for the HDX300. It will fit the 8.8mm tailboom. I did have to trim about 3/8" off the tail boom to get it to fit. Works great for the Blackhawk 400V2 (akaSuprex 3D).

I still have mine and am flying with it some now. I can fly helis just fine but this one is a constant maintenance battle. All of the electronics are new now so if you MUST buy this heli than buy the ARF and only buy this one if you are very familiar with helis. I have three other helis that are flown almost daily and this one is nice when it works, but the head is very complicated compared to Kyosho, Align, and even E-flite so it is a real chore to keep everything tight. If you do have a mishap and tear something up be prepaired to wait for parts for a while. I hope this helps.

I have not had any problems with things coming loose. Loctite is a must. Parts wise I keep most on hand and as you said it does take time to get them. Thus far I haven't broke anything.

Thanks for the reply.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GUYS I HAVE JUST RECEIVED THE NEW SUPREX 3D 450 (SUPPOSEDLY RTF) HELICOPTER FROM REVOLUTION SHOP. This is a link to one on Ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/6Ch-Suprex-3D-MPPro-450-CCPM-Metal-RTF-RC-Helicopter-AU_W0QQitemZ300164608739QQihZ020QQcategoryZ110026QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I JUST CAN NOT GET IT TOGETHER. I BEG SOMEONE TO GIVE ME STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS ON INSTALLING THE SERVOS, MOTOR, ESC, RECEIVER AND GYRO and THE SET UP STEPS REQUIRED ONCE I CONFIRM THAT EVERYTHING IS BEING CONTROLLED BY THE RIGHT STICK. THE FOLLOWING I AM UNSURE ABOUT:
i AM IN AUSTRALIA SO I ASKED FOR A MODE 1, BUT I AM NOT SURE IF THAT WHAT I GOT.
I HAVE INSTALLED THE SERVOS BUT HOW DO I CENTRE THEM AND CONNECT THEM TO THE RECEIVER (AS IN WHICH CHANNELS - MODE 1 REMEMBER). ALSO IS THE ORANGE COLOURED WIRE THE POSITVE?? THE PLUGS SEEM TO GO INTO THE RECEIVER EITHER WAY.
THE GYRO IS A COLCO GY400. IT JUST PERMANENTLY FLASHES WHEN POWERED.
THE MOTOR HAS 3 WIRES - YELLOW, RED AND BLACK, BUT THE ESC HAS 3 RED WIRES?? WHICH CONNECTS TO WHICH??
I AM JUST GOING NUTS HERE. i AM ABVIOUSLY VERY NEW TO THIS, AND I REALLY DONT WANT TO MUC IT UP, AND I HATE TO THINK I AM PUTTING SOMEONE OUT THIS MUCH, BUT I NEED STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS FOR DUMMIES FOR EVERYTHING AFTER THE STAGE WHER THE SERVOS ARE SCREWED ONTO THE FRAME.
WHATEVER INFO YOU CAN GIVE ME GUYS NEEDS TO BE FOR A MODE 1 TRANSMITTER PLEASE.
THANKS HEAPS IN ADVANCE GUYS AND I AM REALLY SORRY FOR TAKING YOUR TIME UP.
REGARDS DEAN

I know what you are going through.
I am in Sydney and have the Suprex 3DPro 500 and the Robo450. Currently waiting on some parts for the 500 and have not flown the 450 yet.
What part of Sydney are you in ?
Can you take some photos of the bits ?
My one has Orange,Red and Brown wires on some of the plugs.
The Orange wire is the signal wire, Brown is negative and red is +5v
Gyro to ch4 (The plug with three wires)
The other plug from the gyro with just one orange wire goes to ch5
The servo that tilts the swashplate forward goes to ch2
You may need to reverse one of the other servo's with the dip switch on the radio.
If you have a Mode 1 radio I would change it so it works as a mode 2, the mode 2 has left/right/forward/backwards cyclic on the one stick just like a real helicopter.
If you need advice on how to do this you can email me directly on wayne@tuneboy.com.au
