Hi all heli frreks.

I have been flying with the reflex xtr simmulator for some time now and I want to get a electric heli but the choise is endless and i need some great info about the dfferent ones out there. Thinking about getting a 6CH but i dont know if im ready and I know that if I get a 4CH i will be bored after while. therefor i ask the people (YOU) what shall one go for?
I know that the walkera has bad electronics and that you have to change the servos (had one and wreked it), but is there a helicopter that has good servos, electronics? fore those who have flown fore a while please give me some opinions about the different good electric helis (money is not a issue) . I an looking for a good heli with easy to find spareparts and that has good electronics. I already got a controll a Hitec eclipse-7.

thanks for any replyes

If money is no object, then I would recommend a mid-size heli, like the MX400 from Helimax, which you have to buy all of the electronics seperately. I had a Century hummingbird with the 4-in-1 board, and it wasn't too reliable. Most of the RTF helis come with suspect electronics, and most people end up having to replace the gear. The larger size of the 400 class helis will also be a benefit as they are more stable in flight. It does come at a premium price, though. I currently have about $600 in my MX400 Pro, but I went all out with PCM receiver, Castle Creations ESC, and carbon upgrades. If you get the basic MX400, then it would be somewhat cheaper, but still you're looking at maybe $250 to $300, depending on how much of the gear you have to buy.
Tower has the basic MX400 here:
