Short answer is yes....

Longer answer is ---- maybe.

Ive had about 85% success using dubro and sullivan fuel valves with the bubble-free fuel systems. As long as you keep things clean, they work ok.

The important thing here is to ensure proper evacuation of the tank prior to filling .... if you use a Tanker (jett tanker) and you evacuate and fill at the same time, this is not difficult. If you have to stop at any point in the process, and you can not clamp off the feed line (in other words, you allow air back in) then problems can occur.

Bob

Thank's Bob!

With 20 oz of fuel onboard, I must disconnect the tanker to refill it, so I think I'll better skip that fuel filler valve and fill my Patriot upside down , trough front gear opening, as I need to clamp the fuel line there anyhow (NV/A is located in tank-bay).
Thought I could disconnect tanker very fast before air went in.....

Thanks again.
Henrik

This is a bad example.... but the general idea.

run the fuel line outside of the fuselage. Connect it with a barbed fitting, or better yet with a fuel filter. If you can find some Tetra 90deg fittings all the better. (run for and aft - what you see here was a quick field fix when the dubro valve got stuck)

You can do this and make it look nice. Same sorta thing was used on pattern ships for quite a while, especially when running pump engines or YS engines.

Yes, this is what I usually have done, last time on my Rifle.

Thought of something "cleaner" this time. Maby I make a little hatch on the fuse side.

Thanks! /HT
