Status: offline 		Well Red, I'll take that bet. Today the President of The Woodland/Davis Club,is Jeff Wiese, who was one of the three individuals thrown out of the SAM Club. John Casey is the saftey officer. At no time has either individual tried to use their position to get revenge against anyone in SAM or against SAM itself. Such actions would not be tolerated by the members of Woodland/Davis.

If they mistakenly tried, I would be the first person to stand in their way. All members of the hobby community are welcome at the Woodland/Davis site. While I don't speak for other members, I am confident of which I state.

In regards to Jim Skids comment that I had the right to leave the SAM I started to go to another Club, Thanks Jim. Hopefully you will always be on the winning side of the issues in life.

I hope that my comments were not taken as an insult, just as a statement that you had made a choice to not be a part of the conflict. I meant no harm with my comment and hope that none was taken. I don't feel that anyone really won with what went on. It was a lot of grief and frustration to say the least. Things have been much more pleasent since these issues have come to pass and would encourage you to check the club out again and see if it meets your needs if you so choose. Either way, I hope all is well and that all of us never have to endure the same type of situation again. On a side note, do you still have that beautifull Geebee?

Sadly the Adrian Page 1/5 scale GeeBee is no longer with us. I am building a larger 1/4 scale GeeBee also kitted by Adrian Page. Hopefully it will fly as well as the 1/5 scale GeeBee you saw me fly.

You are right, I don't have a dog in this fight, I just get mad when statements of conjecture are taken for fact and truth. Of course I guess that would be applicable to any thread on the AMA forum.
I am sure our friend John Casey will have more to say on the political instability in the world and how it is analogous to his SAM situation, so keep those seat belts fasten boys, because the e-ticket ride has not officially ended.[

"They" (THE MEMBERS) Approved the runway project that I proposed.

"We" (THE MEMBERS)voted down raising the fees Jim smiths board wanted to raise three time 3 x,
(then they raised it anyway after running off the people voting it down) Mr skids so called majority said "no"
....the board went and raised them 100% dispite the wishs of "his" members.
How doe Mr skids justify that one if the members are on HIS side.????

"we'(THE MEMBERS) voted down allowing women who where not AMA members to have voting rights( brought up by a board minion.)

They were scared of the voting process, thats why they "avoided at all cost" my motion to dismiss the board,
which was properly made for prefectly good reasons(miss appropriation of club monies) and seconded.

If the members were really on "their" side the vote to dismiss the board would have happened, and I would have lost,
but the board made very sure there was never going to be a vote.

They were very scared that once again the membership was going to side with
me against them as they had already show they would do.

At the time I was being supported by the membership AGAINST the wishes of guys like Skids and his board.

Hence the termination letter with no notice nor particpation by the members, no voting,
they hid everything from the membership......
club rules that don't bode in thier favor,
letters of termination, showing huge violations in american civil rights
lease documents from the county, (showing county approval of building runways)
findings of the courts..........all hidden

I posted them all to the clubs bullentin board at the field for everyone
to read............... THEY TORE THEM DOWN so no one could read them.

SURE ...............THESE ARE THE ACTIONS OF PEOPLE "IN THE RIGHT"

If they so right and JohnCasey so wrong............why hide everything???

Contacting the Landlord????
Yea I contacted the "landlord" AFTER 8 MONTHS OF BEING LIED TO IN THE CLUB MEETINGS by the president.
you bet I did........To get the runway extended for the members
after the board refused to do their JOB and put in the needed proposal paperwork.......
SURE SKIDS... THATS A REAL BAD THING? a real terminationalble offense......

Contacting the parks dept provided proof the
BOARD DID NOT DO CLUB BUSINESS AS............. DIRECTED BY THE MEMBERSHIP,
THE PRESIDENT DID NOT ACT AS SPOKEPERSON FOR THE CLUB.......per the clubs bylaws.
at that point my hands were "untied".

Furhter the price you are paying too fight is your reputation. Stop this nonsence and go fly at your new club make new friends and let this die already. There is not one post here that supports you...not ONE!!!
So all the members that once supported you have jumped the sinking ship already.

There is an old fable, about the lion roaring. A tiger went to thew lion and said "why do you roar?" The lion replied "So all who hear me know I am king". A small rabbit heard this and thought if he could roar all would know he was a presence in the forest as well. So the bunny went into a field and mustered all his stregth and let out a roar...all be it a tiny one. A fox hap[pened to hear the rabbit make the noise, snuck up behind the rabbit and ate him.

The moral of the story when attracting attention to yourself make sure you do not attract the wrong attention.

they have been silenced .........there is a big difference.
It has well been proven that "bad guys" can "dominate" a much larger population and
run over the top of them using fear and intimidation as tools to do so, its no different here.

The board does as it pleases regardless of what the membership wants,
that has been proven time and again. thats why they don't come to meetings anymore
and vote (over 100 folks) the way they did.

The club newletter showed 28.......its not apathy, they just know no
matter what they vote for or against the "gang" are going to do with the club, its field and monies as it choses.
And you do not want to be "caught" not towing the "party" line.

You should see the way the clubs bylaws were "rewritten" to give "them "exclusive power".
voted by a stacked meeting with only 24 people(violates CA laws) but they don't care.

Mr skids could post a copy......but that would prove I'm right . I don't have a copy.......yet

Why rewrite the bylaws, if the "majority" is really behide you and the "troublemakers" all vanquished?

You guys should see this thing.......stalin would be proud.

My reputation is quite good, When I show up at Sam's field and people find out its the infamous JOHN CASEY,
they are awestruck that I'm not sporting a forked tail, and am very glad to see my aircraft fly.
They walk away a little bewildered that I'm not the guy Skids and his boys "paint".

This hobby is about building and flying nice aircraft,Skids and his crowd could'nt touch the stuff I fly,
hence the hatred. Scratch building, glassing,and painting are beyond them.
The "rep" that comes with that level of modeling is what drives thier hatred .

I was winning races,so they changed the breakout times and claimed it was for "Safety reasons."
I was the only guy with a turbine, they "made up a rule" "no jets"(never approved by the members)

The rest of the clubs in the area know what is really going on over there, they stay away.

I don't believe it and I've been here to see it.

Members terminated for what? what did they do?

Cars keyed for what?

Models shot out of the air for what?

People threatened why?

The whole clubs constitution and bylaws rewritten why???
to what end or purpose?

Its 3 years later (march 2004) and I still have to watch whos coming up the clubs driveway?
to shoot me down? key my van?
but not by a majority of members just the " Skids crowd" (about 15 guys) they
think they have the right to run folks off, they never ran me off ,
I'm still flying there much to the happiness of the clubs "silent" majority.
