Hi, I'm am complete new in the RC buisiness and thought i would like to start with a helicopter since i don't need a lot of room to fly and electric would be easier. What heli should i get? Where? What radio? Anything that could get me flying and stay flying. Thank you so much

Hey, I am a newbie too and I heard great reviews about the Corona as far as durability and how great it is for a beginner so I did end up getting one myself and I am very happy with it. I did own a micro heli right before this one and you could learn with those too, but it's a lot harder. The Corona is a lot more stable. Oh and get a simulator too, it helps a lot.

Lite Machines has a super combo pack for the Corona, it comes with everything you need, except the battery pack and charger. That's the route I went with, if you're interested in that one, I can try and refer you to the guy I got it from, it was a really good deal, I got the complete kit and a team orion 2400 battery + shipping to Hawaii for $550. If you buy everything seperately, it'll come out to a little more but I'm finding out that is the best bet. Mainly for me, I don't like the gyro that comes with the kit, I already bought a new one (Futaba GY 240). They say that the stock Fuision motor doesn't last real long but it is doing fine for me so far, but then again I only have about 10 flights in. An atomic Force motor is only about $20 anyway so no biggie. Other than that, the kit comes with a nice radio, good servos, and some other odds and ends like glue, sandpaper, accelerator, etc etc. which you'd also have to get seperately if not. Anyway, whatevfer you choose, from my experience with it, you'll love the Corona. Check out the thread under the Electric Heli section, "Is this heli any good for a beginner?" I started that thread when I first picked up a heli and Hoverup suggests a lot of good info in it, as far as what to get. I know one thing for sure, the gyro is very important when first learning and the Futaba is really good, it holds the tail a lot better with it's head hold feature, the stock gyro I had didn't hold the tail that well which makes it more difficult to learn. So if you can spend more $ get everything seperately, if you got a budget, the complete kit is good too, you can just upgrade the gyro later when you get more $. Sorry for the long reply
