I've never met or talked to FBD in person, but I trust him. You can tell by the way a man handles himself weather or not he's trustworthy. Anyone who builds cars is okay by me.

Paypal sent.

Thanks, Fellas....

When you send Pay-Pal....put your name and RCU usename in the comments
box so I know who sent it....this is getting confusing....some folks Pay-Pal
accounts names have nothing to do with their RCU usernames.

If you are sending a check, write your RCU username on it somewhere as well.

FBD.

I meant no offence, and I said that up front, but I guess I should have known it would come across that way.

I'm sorry. In no way did I mean to impugn your integrity.

And of course you're totally correct that Time erodes Charity. The longer we wait to do something, the less people will be interested.

Kram....no harm....don't give it another thought, it's already forgiven and forgotten.

FBD, While I don't have a lot of extra money at the moment, I do have some skills that may be helpful.
Can you ask Bill if he still has his burned up computer? I am an expert at data recovery, and may be
able to salvage data from the hard drive. If he wants to send the hard drive to me, I'd be happy to see
what I can do. You can PM me with the answer, and I will give you my address.

Deadeye....I'll check on this....

Come on guys, stop worrying. If everyone who has posted a question in Club Saito and received a helpful answer from William Robison sent one dollar via Paypal to FBD to help Bill it would add up to a lot of help.

Bill is no Spring chicken. He has not got a lot of years left to rebuild his life, or earn an income to recover what he has lost. Bill has never touched one of my engines but I know he has touched lots of you guys engines and never charged a penny. Give up one "burger, fries and a coke" meal to help out an old Viet Nam vet get back on his feet.

Or at least one dollar!

This thing is working out good. I spoke with Bill today, and he needs a radio to get back
flying. I found a good deal at Bruckner's Hobbies in New York. I bought a Futaba 9CAF
Super Radio system complete for Bill....

9CAFSUPER Aircraft FM Radio $399.99
Comes with (4) s3151 digital servos, 148df receiver, rx battery, charger, switch harness
and extension. TX can be programmed for PCM or FM. For PCM operation a PCM receiver
is needed. Campac included!

I don't know what Campac is. I caught the radio at 50 bucks off at $349.99.
I bought an extra 148df receiver with crystal on special with the radio for $39.99. Those
recievers are a hundred bucks alone.

And I bought the neat soft carryting case for the radio.....$19.99

I paid by Pay-Pal....money comes in, money goes out....I don't have to touch it.

radio... 349.99
receiver 39.99
case......19.99
shipping.10.00
_____________
..........$419.97

I over paid them one penny....my bad.

FBD.

Thanks....wow....what a deal, huh ? I wish I could get a deal like that. All I have is two
old Futabas TX6XAS transmitters....

It's being sent directly to Bill....that should make him feel a bit better.

Bills Super Duelist somehow survived in a box in a back room. That is a big twin engine
plane. Bill and a couple other Guys enlarged the plans from a regular Pica Duelist, and
made up about fifty kits a couple years back. He's going to build it now....why not ?

We need to save up for a couple Saito engines for the plane, and maybe a set of
Spring-Air retracts....that's a big goal, but I think we can make it .

FBD.
