Status: online 		I just talked with Bobby Franks on the phone and he doesn't know any more about Bill's condition other than what ED said.

But if it is any indication, His family are on their way to the area.

If we hear anything, we will post it on here.

Status: offline 		Bill Robison passed away tonight at about 9:30PM.

All of us who knew him will remember him for his knowledge of engines and twins that he freely shared with everyone. He will be missed.

Status: offline 		I'm lost for words. This is all too sudden, and many of us did not even have a chance to talk with him since the fire. May his soul rest in peace, and let perpetual light shine upon him. Bill will be deeply missed by all.

I phoned Bill about two weeks ago, after that awful blaze forced him to move to a house nearby...
He said most of his 'stuff' burnt and his engines all melted down...
He was recovering from a previous health condition; some respiratory collapse, before the fire broke out.
I believe it was a culmination of all these conditions...

He was thankful one of his planes was at a friend's house and it was the only one he had left.

...I did not imagine that conversation will be our last...

I am truly sorry it had overcome him.


My deepest condolences to his family.

I will miss him.
