Status: offline 		I just talked to Bill about two minutes ago, his house burned down recently and he lost nearly all his possessions. Bill himslf is OK but pretty subdued as would be expected. I can't even imagine how devestating that would be. I'll keep in touch with him.

Status: offline 		I am relieved to hear that Bill is alright. But I am devastated by the news of his house burning down and the loss of his lifetime of possessions. I had wondered why he had not logged on lately, and I even sent him an e-mail which has been unanswered. When I saw the title of this thread, I feared the worst!

Bill, if you are reading this, let me know if there is ANYTHING we can do to help. You have helped all of us tremendously over the years. Personally, I am ready to donate a Saito engine to you. Let me know.

Status: offline 		Bob, Tom et al, near the end of our phone conversation I mentioned that I would not say anything but then he thought a moment and said to let everybody know because he knew people were wondering. I did get a laugh or two out of him, especially when I told him what my windmill looked like this AM and what a prop would look like if we flew today.
