My all-original, 80,000 mile 83 GTI that met an untimely demise,

And my 1976 VW bus.

As you can see, the paint looks a lot better after stripping off the hippie spraypaint and a heck of a lot of buffing and waxing!

silly boy, would I post this if it wasn't mine? you think too much, lol. Redding california is a hot dry place! the truck was in town, iono why the hell there is a palm tree...
the car was at my old house, days ago, like 05 or 04 or something, its been caged and am working on the body work now,
the bikes were on the porch when i was renting a place in happy valley, it was about 2 years after the big fire, they had moved in a new trailer and just bladed the whole property with a tractor.....

if this doesnt satisfy you maybe the link below will "straighten this out..."

yeah i know, i was trying to keep the tires under the fenders cuz i didnt want to drill holes to put the bushwacker fender flares and cops are bad about not havine flares if your tires stick out here..
im taking the 16" springs off and going to a 12.5 kit, getting harrased to much by chp here in california with frame heigh violations,
going to run 22x12 rims with 41" irok tires, they will be much wider, lol

guess thats a no....
common rail is the fuel system, its how people in the performance industry refer to the different cummins engines,
pre 98 were p-pump 12V cummins, 98 to 02 were 24v vp44 cummins, 03 newer are common rail, or cp3 cummins,
im not sure if the 6.7 has the cp3 pump tho...
I recommend this site, read up!

Here is a picture of pride and joy Pinto. Was my daily driver for many years - now it's strictly a weekend cruise car that has been severely modified. Mods include: 351W, C-4 Automatic, 8" Rear, 8 Point Cage, Pro Seats and 5-way belts, and the wonderful factory exploding gas tank.

Lots of fun

power is for people who can spell.......

Nitrous is a Great power adder, the draw of a supercharger usually decreases MPG's and increased torque all the time will wreck havock on your drive train...
Nitrous can keep a car in stock form, and keep up with people with real power adders, I don't like the stuff much besides putting it through the occasional rental car, but to each his own, no need to talk down and get an argument going, lol

Replaced my previous car early 2002. Wifey's only requirement was that the next car have 4 doors. Doh!

That's right, time to be "responsible" and purchase a family sedan.

I didn't want new car payments, so I looked at the used car market for something mid-90's.

Yes.

96 Impala SS. 5.7 LT-1. Totally stock with lots of miles when I bought it. That's fine because it is my daily driver and doesn't need to be perfect. Now have mild mods like computer, "ram-air" induction, headers, cat-back, 3.42 gears, aluminum driveshaft, Eaton Posi, Hotchkis sways/springs/rear LCAs, Bilstein shocks, 18 inch Budnik wheels, 285 tires in the back, some brake improvement (unfortunatly big brakes not in the budget). Some stereo stuff. Some billet bling to show-off the V-8. Exterior cosmetic stuff. New leather.
