i run the standard one but have a 4 cell rechargable pack just for recievers.

Im considering adding an electric fan from a ps2 to cool my car down next body i get. as it sits after a tank drifting it doesnt go past 150 degrees. I plan on getting a body and not cutting half the windshield and windows out so it wont get much cooling when standing still waiting for others, which is why i want the fan on it.

Wont start eh? Are you 100% sure that the glow plug works, igniter is charged and the engine is primed? Those are the most common causes of engine not starting.

Im not too sure what happened to my last post in which i asked a question reguarding the new Evo4 .30 vs. .15 motor does the .30 mill produce much more torque than the .15? to compete with the newer version do i need to ditch the .15 and try to find a .18? or will the .15 mill be ok if i Mod the thing.

I have always toyed with the idea of converting a nitro RS4 into a mild rally car. Has anyone on here had success with this? Looking for a 1/10 nitro rally car...seems like the only thing close is Kyosho DRX.

You have to make sure that your rear gears are the same gear. What exact rs4 do you have?

No, you have to make sure they have the same amount of teeth. I had ordered the front one way for my rs4 and I noticed that its the cheap aluminum material and they have more or less teeth . i had upgraded my gears to the steel, so I shiped it back cus it was gonna do no good for me.

If you use the wrong gears from the front to the rear your front wheels will be spining faster than your rear or the other way around

Can you explain more what is wrong with your car. What do you mean BINDING UP?

I went ahead and did this. Its not always needed but it sure helps now with the head shim removed and leaned out a bit for more low end power.

ok so decided not to rebuild the crappy hpi .15 fe. instead i got a os cv-rx.15. i just put the new engine in and wow whatta diffrence. i  have kept everything else on the chassis stock so far, as the money comes in i will be doing upgrades. i did fabricate lights for both the bodies i have. the alpha romeo body came with the rtr kit, the honda body i got used and i added a fuctioning roof scoop on both bodies. it keeps the engine at good temp so i havent had to cut any other holes in these bodies.
