I have had this question in the R/C Fuel section for a while and can't get an answer. I have also sent a fax twice to Morgan Fuels and they are either shut down or too arrogant to answer me.

For 2 years now I have been using Cool Power Pro Pattern 20% fuel. I was under the impression that this was 20% nitro & 20% oil. Now on their website it is listed as 15% nitro & 20% oil. Heck their 30% & 40% Pro Pattern is also listed as 15% nitro & 20% oil. Why call it 30% or 40% if it doesn't include 30% or 40% of anything ? Does anyone have an answer ?

20% Pro Pattern is Morgan's answer to YS20/20 fuel -20% nitro and 20% oil which breaks from their normal oil content 17% total oil.

A visit to the Morgan Fuel's website leaves me thinking that the way they describe some of their blends is, at best, very misleading.

The universally accepted definition of FAI oil content is 20% oil. How is it possible to then describe FAI fuel as 17% oil?

Half the time Morgans web site won't even pull up. I think they just made mistakes. I like the BIG SUPER TIGRE fuel 0% nitro 0% synthetic 0% castor and 0% total oil. Even diet Pepsi One has more kick----Haw

FAI fuel is not simply 20% oil and 80% methanol.

It is 20% castor oil. No synthetic.

CoolPower, being all synthetic, cannot be accepted as FAI fuel.

So what some are saying is that this info pulled from Morgan's website is incorrect ? Makes me wonder how a company of this size could make this kind of mistake and not even aknowledge me when I contact them. I wonder if my LHS can get me some other make of fuels

Well Don according to a RCU member that lives just down the street from the Morgan factory says they have strange and whacky hours so I would guess the web site would get the same attention. I noticed the greatest oil of the century MV has got bumped up to 18% total oil. Find a different fuel and make sure they list %'s and now you can sleep at night.

Unfortunately in my area 85% use Omega 14% use Cool Power so the Hobby shops only sell Morgan but I'll see what I can do.

there is a very good reason for this, morgan fuel is a top quality fuel, maybe not in the office but in its product i appriciate the alert but its still omega for me.

They must keep a low profile , so they don't have to buy lots of bearings for cruel power .

If you have Hobbytown in The great white north (Canada) for you guys in Rio Linda (Rush L.) Their private label fuel is WILDCAT..............
