Oh yeah, that silicon/gas issue didn't come to mind... luckily, silicone tubing is - still - reasonably cheap
You can see on the video, when the camera is filming the front suspension, where it moves rapidly from side to side my foot there. The forks have around 20~35ยบ travel to each side before moving the servo arm. The wheel was on the air, trying to simulate the dynamic lighter load imposed on the steering.

I bought an R sparkplug cap and a nearly equivalent "r" sparkplug (BPMR6, instead of the original BM6 - around 2mm longer electrode, but i think it won't hit the cylinder).
The first test was made with the orignal sparkplug and R cap. No improvement.
Switched to a hand tightened BPMR6 plug and R cap and presto! Wow, no glitches
I'll try to solder the lateral supports tomorrow morning, wil have to take a look around the house for old 15mm tubing to make them. I won't bother putting roller blade skate wheels for now

She's ready! Just finished her up 15 minutes ago.
I can't post any photos for now because it has started to rain pretty bad, and I don't wan't to get a cold.
In the mean time, here's my Nuova Faor (she needs some real TLC).

the rain calmed down a bit, so I took it for a test ride.
The cement floor of the volleyball field is too slipery, the bike is waaaaaaaaaaay too sensitive, and there isn't enough room for it to gain speed and stabilize.
The lateral support have bent a bit, so I have to complete them by making a triangulation (see last photo).
These photos were taken just now, inside my place, so the camera got them shaky :S

Francisco,
I am pretty sure it was the rain and not the volleyball field floor any wetness on the pavement makes it slip...even just a bit of gas spillin from filling it up, if the back wheel touches it, its going to spin out. Not enough room? the bike will stabilize itself and a fast walking pace. Lateral support bent you mean the crash bar(drag bars)...yes they bend often from the 50lbs of the bike leaning on them. I just bend them back and practice trying to not let the bike lean that far down.. How long are your drag bars? I myself use 6inch long solid 3/4inch bolts.
Its looking great you have done a good job on it. Its nice to see you have completed it, Now the fun begins trying to control it. Sensitive you mean the steering? are you using a computer radio transmitter for it? I hope you also are using a channel for ignition kill for your safety and everyone around you.
Chris.

Chris.

The bars are 27.5cms long, around 11", if memory serves me lol.
Yeah, I don't need that much movement from it, I'll probably add some expo to it or cut down the servo travel.
I haven't added a remote controlled kill switch, just have the switch on the right hand side of the rear wheel triangle, and the receiver programed for failsafe values. But it's simple and quick to add a remote kill switch.
It seemed to want to stabilize at a slow running pace, i.e.,a faster fast walking pace but the floor didn't help out (some parts were dry, others not, so the wheels were moist).
One thing I've noticed is when it flips on its side, the engine will run out of gas and stop in 5 seconds, which is reconforting

Please do add the remote kill as soon as you can, I learn't that the hard way.
as for flipping on its side don't rely on it. if you have a full tank and it flips on the side where the pick up is it will continue to run.
something I didn't notice on your bike, the tires are they slicks or do they have tread cut into them?

Have a great weekend
Chris.

Ok, I'll add it

They're slicks, I didn't have to make burn-outs for that

Oh, just for future reference, my bike is an MTA-2 model

burn outs hehehehehe I havn't run slicks on mine so I don't know yet how it behaves.
oh the other thing how much air you have in your tires. ....take the air out or it will bounce alot.
I have 5lbs in the back and 4lbs in the front. Don't need 30lbs of air anymore your not ridding it.
Chris.

good ideia regarding the air pressure. I have 2bar in front and back, I'll reduce it to half.

ran it a bit today when the ground dried a bit. it get up from a standstill, but after banging too many times on the walls of the field, I need to buy some new forls before another run....
Just one question, when it was going straight and I wanted to turn it it continued to go straight. Do I have to back out the throttle? It wasn't going much fast...

Was it leaning when you tried to turn? yes you have to bring down the throttle and apply the brakes to turn...you can turn with just bringing down the throttle but using both makes it easier.
Chris.

I'm taking it out for a test drive tomorrow afternoon to a parking lot.
I have triangulated the crash-bars and added a rollerbearing on each tip.
Cross your fingers!
