Cool. I put it together dry and I cleaned and lubed the bearings. It stopped raining so I took it for a burn. Something aint right. It seems like it won't shift out of first gear. I thought the engine could be out of tune cause I cleaned the air filter and used a new air filter oil. So I tweeked the carb a few times, and got some better acceleration happening, but it still wouldn't shift. It shoots off the line and almost wheelies but it doesn't shift. It revs up nice and quick but then when first gear tops out, it seems like the engine just isn't havin it and almost wants to die. But even if it's runnin like crap it should still shift, right? Hope someone can help. Maybe its just somethin simple like adjusting the shift point, but doesn't that come preset from the factory? I will try to fix it more tomorrow at work. I hope it doesn't rain, its supposed to rain like crazy. Oh well, at least it'll be friday.
