I have the Hen Long Tiger and the controls are excessive, maybe can be changed, But I am looking to buy a new Walker Bulldog, what would you guys recomend.
I really want control and manuevering as priorities.

Yep, you probably have the non-smoke tank, the electronics do not give you good control over the tank. You can buy a smoke and sound upgrade kit from many vendors.

Most newbies made the mistake of buying the cheaper non smoke and sound version. For your future tanks, you can save yourself from pain and suffering by purchasing the 10-speed S&S version, which has much better control.

OK I got the Walker from Mato and the Metal tracks, seems like I need to drop a track section, they are a little loose, any thoughts?

The "search" feature is your friend! Last month I thought the same thing. Taking out a link makes them way too tight, it compresses the rear suspension, the work fine slack just watch them as they stretch after a couple of hours of use, maybe then you could pull a link out.

This thread belongs in the main forum.

I just installed the metal Mato tracks on my Pershing and the slack is acceptable, I guess if the non-drive wheel was adjustable an optimal tension can be applied but since this isn't the case it works fine with the given slack.
