that still doenst sound like an incidence thing to me, check it to be sure, but most who had incidencs issues it was clear right of the bat needing lots of up trim to maintain level flight, if you didnt have that i would think its something else

Oh, I have a ton of up trim for level flight alright. Just guessing I would say well over a 1/4 inch on the front counter balances. So hopefully it is that or a lateral balance problem. My plane weighs 18lbs, maybe it's the weight....................

For the Incidence issue explanation, fixes and other helpful info look at posts #2064, 2388 and 2452. This issue has been discussed many, many times it was just recently brought up again around post #6006 and carries to the following page.

ahhhh, your incidence may be off then, i only needed a few clicks here and there so mine seemed okay, its not the weight either, mine came in around 19 with my zdz60, wrap around pitts, 3 metlhydr batts, all the "accessories" like spats, louvers, gallons of epoxy , and still floats in for landings like a butterfly with soar feet ....just enough power with a 23b for me to do tailslides and things down low, a slow steady climb out is what i get, but thats about all i need to feel comfortable doing sh&t like that

One of these day I need to pull out my robart meter, do the stab fix and double check everything else while I'm at it.

Is your CG right on too? I found that some of my similar issues were with pushrod lengths on the elevator halves.

The plane walls fine without any corrective input, be it on a vertical down line or horizontal.

it Walls great just don't carry to much speed into it,or your wing tube will go SNAP!
then your Yak will look like a trainer with the wing tips pointing up,like mine did.

Hi All

I just ordered the 88" yak to go with my DA-50, slimline muffler, and Futaba 12z 2.4 radio! Would like some some tips on the servos and prop for this plane? of course for 3-D! and, any setup and/or CG info would be great!

Thanks

Mike

mine has 5985's all around, no trouble at all holding a knife edge loop.CG is at 7" and flies hands off inverted. check your stab incidence some are off, should be 0 with the wing.it will save you some exciting moments on maiden flight. let me be the first to welcome you to the WOW! club.
