Hello all,
I just bought a Blade CP Pro off of a good buddy of mine because he purchased a T-Rex 450SE. When I got the helicopter, he had put a heading hold gyro on it, twin tail motors and some more snub batter connectors. The copter flies great and I love it. I am just learning and getting pretty good at it. I have about 10 flights on it and can take off, hover, land and am working on forward flight. The forward flight is kinda getting me though. The tail motors just cannot keep up with the gyro...so I'm getting some tail wagging with advancment and decrease in throttle and in constant forward flight. So, I ordered a few things to try to make it as stable as the T-Rex.

1) ICS-50J Speed Control
2) Direct Drive EDP-50XC (this is the EDP50XP version....but the hobby stores opinions, the EDP50H works also)
3) CN12 heat sink
4) FD030B Tail Rotor blade with mounting hardware

I am hoping that this will help with the wagging and stability. Don't get me wrong, I love this thing and it flies great. Anyways, some of the parts are inbound from Hong Kong...so I have some waiting to do. I will update this as soon as the parts arrive and I can give it a test run or two.
Just wondering if anyone else has added these to their Blade CP Pro? If so, did it help a lot?

Thanks:

yep, running the edp50h motor with a 3x2 prop and hh gyro. Holds just fine in loops, rolls and standing flips. I cant do tic-tocs soo, not sure if it would hold that good but, flying around its no problem. Next you need a brushless motor/controler for the extra power needed to really fly it around. A real radio and your done!!

yah, I'm only at avout 10-15 flights, but I'm getting a lot better. I have a Futaba 7CAP...so the transmitter is great. Parts are not in yet, but should be in like a week.
