This is a Sky Raider Mach II I was doing to sort of match a Viper I am putting together. I've been just a little busy lately.

A need arose for this one in Victorville, California, so it is making a trip to the West coast.

The good thing about Sky Raider Mach II's? Use all you want ... They'll make more.

Mike Langlois wanted a new LA Racer 40 for the upcoming race at www.OldJulianAirport.com and he ordered a yellow one. He told me to do it however I wanted. I've been wanting to do a sunburst/starburst for my custom color schemes portfolio. So I drew up a wing panel and made templates so I can easily do more of them.

I kind of like this one without trim on the tail. I have an email into Mike asking if he want trim on the tail. I'm sure it would look good with trim on the tail as well. With the templates, this color scheme is not too much work.

Wow, there are some really great looking Club 40's on here. I almost didn't put my planes pic up as it is really plain Jane compared to the others. It is a really good flyer and when I was home earlier this month I started working on the other two SR's I have. Maybe I will get home and can make some club 40 races before the end of the year.

Just got my "first" one.  Kinda simple but enough to know which one I'm flying.  Next time I'll get an ARC.
It sure went together easy!

While I was doing some sunburst color schemes, I was inspired to update the scheme on my OS 40LA powered Club 40 Sport/Novice LA Racer 40 plane.

I think it looks pretty decent with the new sunburst addition.

Just getting back in the hobby and thought Club 40 racing would be a sweet way to get back in the air.

Here's a picture of my LA Racer with TT Pro .40. Weighs in at about 4lbs 11 oz. wit a 6V 2000 Mah receiver pack.

Here's the one I have Don Stegall trimming out for me.

Holy splotches, battyman! (I'm sorry, I mean, Mike) .

Well, you should not have any trouble with someone else having the same color scheme as that white one!!!

Someone took this photo of my two LA Racers at the 8/8/09 LMS race. One was an ARC and the other one was solid white. They are both bright red on the bottom now. I actually got them confused and completed a race on 7/25/09 LMS flying #2 with the transmitter model set for #1. Thankfully they are setup identically and it need only a minor trim adjustment after takeoff.

Here are photos of Mike Langlois' new Sky Raider Mach II. It is done in the same color scheme as his LA Racer 40 that met its fate in practice after doing well in the previous race, possibly due to a radio problem. Let's hope this one lasts longer.

I think this speaks for itself... This was my flying partners LA Racer at this past weekends Texas City race. He went inverted and pulled when he should have pushed. Literally had to use a shovel to dig it out of the ground.

Since they stopped making the colored-tail ARFS, I have decided my planes should not be a mish-mash of schemes, but all look alike. Here is one with which I am experimenting. Got it ready to fly early in the afternoon of the 8th. Still needs trim and the lettering on the side of the fuselage. Flies great, but it bit my left pinkie. Next Tuesday, the surgeon will check it and change the bandage.

Altitude would have prevented that. Rookie mistake, unfortunate...

Nice clean looking SRMII.  I like you choice of spinner and your paint scheme is one of a kind.
