ORIGINAL: The Real Dogman Hey Nitro, gotta picture of the tool you had made? Just curious to see what you came up with... The photo shows a tool I made to hold the 21t & 17T pinion Gears whilst removing them from the clutch bell, works well in a vice. Allowing the reuse of your 21T gear especially when it's not worn like your 17t usually is! (2 hole nylon block, with slots). The other 2 piece nylon block is what I use to hold my flywheel with (using multigrips) whilst undoing the crankshaft clutchbell retaining bolt. No flywheel scratches! Finally the clutchbell tool, is a sliding fit on the inside of the bell & the drive fingers protrude a simmilar distance to yours! The flat end works fine with a 1" open end spanner or Adj. shifter, (or a vice). Basically a copy of the one posted on the CEN site last year! I usually put the drive gear in the nylon block in a vice, & undo the bell using a spanner. Works well for me! Regards, .46NitroAddict [>:]
