Status: offline 		My monster GT has the excess antenna wire wrapped and zip tied inside the receiver compartment. I pulled the wire full length through the antenna tube but its almost 14 inches longer than the tube. I coiled the remaining on the outside of the tube and shrink wrapped the end. Is this ok to do?

Status: offline 		Yes, that's better than being coiled inside radio box. You may noticed improved range.
