Man no offence...i believe your 64mph top speed but i doubt for the factory's stock 70 cause i've driven the car.Anyway no problem for me cause I've never cared about top speed. The ferrari produces better downforce than the corvette and that's the reason i got it. It has supreme rear downforce! Corvette has less downforce than 575 but it's better for top speeds. The tvr is the tuscan speed 12.

It's the Dodge Stratus from Proline, that's why the pros use it, you'll see all the top events dominated by Stratus bodies, the Alfa 156 is also popular. The reason being that they provide little lateral movement, assisting high speed stability, especially when transitioning through corners. This is assuming you want a race legal touring car body.

If you dont care about racing rules, then blatantly one of the GT car bodies.

If you want to know about stability at insane speeds, ask the guys in the Miami racers thread in the nitro on road forum, there's a few cars there that go 80mph plus, I'm sure they'll tell you which are the good ones.

Never tried a Saleen. Always have wanted to though.

Well today I strapped on a fancy HPI downforce wing on my old HPI Transam. Made the fastest pass in my car's history, 65MPH. Trying for 70, but I don't know if I can get her up that fast in the short space I have. Also, bought a shiny new PRO-LINE Corvette C6-R. WOW. Car boogies like you wouldn't believe. Stuck like glue to the lot, and did surprisingly well on corners. Top speed of 63 MPH. 1 mph slower than the Lola, 2 mph slower than the Trans-am(in case you weren't keeping count. :P ).
